Southern Branch Monitor Workshop

 The workshop was conducted following the Piobaireachd Conclave conducted by Jimmy Bell. Over 20 2010 EUSPBA Rulebooks were passed out to those that attended.  Items of note that were discussed were:

a. 2010 Band rule changes

b. Training & assisting games personnel in properly filling out and reviewing tabulation sheets and score sheets plus obtaining judges signatures.

c. Collating score sheets properly.

d. US Post Office change – any item over 13 oz must be presented to a customer service rep. and verified in person the item meets postal regulations.

Postage may be paid for by stamp(s) or postage meter. However, an Express Mail Corporate Account (EMCA) cannot be used to pay for Priority Mail postage. Priority Mail packages weighing over 13 oz. with postage paid by stamps must be taken to a clerk at a local Post Office.     

In other words, you just can’t drop the Priority Envelope in the mail box and they will ship it.
